Senior Portrait Information

If you are ready to see what your Senior Portrait experience could be like, send Brenda a message on our Contact Us page. Brenda, or someone from our studio, will respond to you within 24 hours, normally by the end of the day.

THE CONSULTATION - (FREE)

The consultation will be your first meeting with Brenda. It’s always free and there’s never any obligation to hire Brenda Connell Photography. Most of these meetings take place at her studio, but she’s always open to meeting with you at a coffee shop, or a restaurant, or in your home.

Consultation meetings are normally 30–45 minutes to explain the process and to discuss any ideas you have for your senior portraits. If you don’t have a clue about what you want to do, Brenda is there to help you design a photo session you love. She will give you suggestions for locations and wardrobe, and help you avoid mistakes other seniors make.

Even if you aren’t planning to have your portraits taken until several months down the road, try to get your consultation scheduled as soon as possible. Brenda’s schedule is normally filled several months in advance.

THE BOOKING

If you fall in love with everything you see and hear about what your session will be like during your consultation meeting, you will want to reserve a date for your portrait session. Brenda Connell Photography only takes a limited amount of photos sessions throughout the year, so it is strongly recommended to book as soon as possible.

In order To reserve a date, a non-refundable retainer fee of $250 is required. This amount is applied to the portrait package you choose to purchase.

THE COST

Every session is different based on YOUR needs. Our full packages include a certified, professional hair and make up artist to provide true VIP treatment. These packages also include printed photographs and a keepsake photo album.

Our prices are definitely not the cheapest in the area for good reason, but they are very reasonable. The best is never the cheapest. The experience you’ll have with Brenda is unmatched. THE PHOTO SHOOT

Your special day starts with hair and make up. We do that at our studio or the stylist’s salon, which ever is closest to your first shoot location.

Our stylists use the top brands to make you gorgeous and camera already.It doesn’t matter if you want to be totally glammed up or just have a more natural look, they know how to take care of you.

Most of our seniors say things like “I’m nervous. I’m not a model, and I don’t know how to pose for pictures.” No problem! Brenda has worked hard for a lot of years to understand posing, and lighting, and composition. She will show you exactly what to do. Your photo shoot day will be a fun day, and you will remember it for years to come!

THE REVEAL and ORDER APPOINTMENT

Normally we schedule the Reveal and Order Appointment while you are getting your hair and make up done on the day of your shoot, and it usually takes place within two weeks after your shoot.

You’ll get to see your gorgeous gallery of portraits so you can choose your favorites. It’s important to bring everyone in the decision making process so you can pick the images to be printed. The Reveal and Order meeting normally takes about 60-90 minutes.

THE DELIVERY

We won’t make you wait months for your images. Your order will be ready within three weeks from the date of your Reveal meeting. You will receive beautiful products to hold in your hand and hang on your walls instead of a disk that gets put in a drawer and forgotten.

Most of our clients prefer to drop by the studio to pick up their items, but we will deliver or have them dropped shipped if that works better for you.
